    Default Hard UP Fishing!

Friend of mine sent me this today. This only can happen on West Boggs which is surrounded by Amish farms. Not sure they are Amish, but I am betting so. This is hard up when you’re desperate to go fishing! It’s one way to get your boat launched!

I live in Northern Indiana surrounded by the Amish community. They drive tractors at speeds up to 45 mph up here on our main highways pulling their construction trailers, as well as there boats. Couldn't believe it the first time I saw it and thought what about a drivers license? They don't have one, but the farm machinery rule must get them a pass.

Hopefully my son doesn’t see this. My tractor and my boat will be missing for the day!

Here is a pic of fish caught on Boggs yesterday by some guys that took the pic of the tractor pic. Not getting any reports of large crappies being caught much over 10” due to fishing pressure. But the crappie are still there if you want to fight the masses to get them. Don’t have a full report, but some other reports was fish deep, jigs, with minnows or without when you find a school.
I will pass on Boggs myself.

A coworker lost his driver's license here in Michigan a few years ago and is a rabid walleye fisher. He figured out that a person with a suspended license can drive farm equipment. He didn't miss much fishing and even better quit drinking.

I saw them too. Noticed they blocked the main road getting boat ready to launch. There was still room to go around. There will be at least 10 kids in that boat when the bite gets hot.
