Bite was slow but we managed to catch a few. All went back in the lake. Caught crappie, white bass & even a couple small large mouth. We were on the water at 8 am off at 1pm water was 68 when we got there & 72 when we left. Most were caught on baby shads /blue grass color. Just happy to be back out on the water had a good fun time with my 8 yr old son.

Good deal glad you got out on the water, supposed to go tomorrow but my fishing buddy hurt his back and doesn't know if he will be able to go for sure.

Went this morning 730-11 caught 15 total, bite was pretty much non existent you had to keep pestering them until they hit it. They wanted it creeping along or just sinking, when they did hit it was a pretty good thump.. Water temp said 69.8 at 730, when we left it was 71-72deg.
This water cooling down should turn them on after they get used to the 5 deg drop in one week.
Boat traffic wasn't to bad for me. But Saturday morning it was 40 degrees when I got on the water. Cant imagine to many smart smart people wanting to ski then. I put in at hollandsburg ramp & stayed mainly on north end of lake the time that I was there. Went to "S" turns first thing then went north of bridge. That was really my plan all long so I could avoid the traffic as much as I could especially on a Saturday.

Guys bass fishing were the worst the other day, zooming up and down the lake every 10 minutes.. one guy went up into idle zone doing about 50mph and about a hour later he came out doing the same, people have no regard for rules what so ever think they can do whatever they want.
