If you go, drive thru the campgrounds to find the ne bay that everybody is fishing catching crappie about 8-10’ down. It’s where the boats will be. Size 10-11 inches.

Used to fish Dogwood when I was in my early teens with my Grandpa 45 or so yrs ago, it was nothing to go out in the evening and catch 100 bass on top water nothing real big but tons of them, .. usually used a jitterbug, caught some big redear also. Dont know what its like now but heard its went downhill a bit.. good luck if you go.

Dogwood gets really hammered from late spring thru fall. You have the campgrounds and cleaning station and then add the Amish. Friend of mine fished it 2 weeks ago and kept 14 all 10-11 inch crappie. It has a 9” limit. About 8 other boats there and all were in the same Bay Area, but that is where the schools were located.
