Winter pool is 640 and lake is at 641 so you would have to launch at the St. Park ramp as not sure of the ramp at the dam. Summer pool is 662 ft.
Anybody ever fished raccoon lake for crappie this time of year?

Ive heard that even in the park you need a small light boat to launch since water is so low, been going to go over and take a look and see but haven't made it yet, fishing should be good right now at least till this wind/rain gets here tomorrow.

The main ramp at the state park isn't useable I would guess. However, there was a dredging project that made the Mansfield ramp (dam ramp) accessible year round.

I was there sunday walking the banks crappie fishing. Main ramp has no access. Dam ramp is still open but is a hike back up to truck. Bank fishing is your best bet right now until it freezes over. It was pretty slow on sunday though. Fished hair jigs under bobber.
