Indiana DNR is offering a $100 reward for catching a black carp, a newer invasive speiceis and related to the Asian of course .
Two have been caught in the Ohio river, Indiana side. They feed on mussels many of which are already endangered.
The story is on Fox59.com (where I work).
I did a search for "Black Carp in Indiana" and found more links.
I would post links but I am not good at doing such.

Just what we need is another invasive specie. Bet we find them in the East Fork of the White River eventually as DNR shut down the mussel harvest about 25 yrs ago here, and we have an abundant mussel population in the White and it’s tributaries as well as a few lakes that get flooded by it every year. We already have all the Asian Carp en mass in East Fork.
