Nice!! That'll hook a kid for life! How much is the Livescope setup? Is it mainly geared toward finding structure oriented fish, or is it good for open water, too?
Got out a couple hours this morning pre front with my best buddy. Used livescope to pick a couple brushpiles on a shallow ledge apart, in about 10 foot of water. Gray ghost hand ties did the job. Notice the shirt..... GO CATS!

The transducer and control box sells for 1500. You can find it cheaper if you're patient and shop around. Then you have to have a compatible Garmin unit. It can be used in any situation, but it also can aggravate the fire out of you. There are more fish than you can imagine near your boat all the time. Doesn't mean they'll bite though. A lot of them spook, or just check your jig out and swim off.
Shoot me a message when the shellcracker start turning on, plan on coming down your way a few days and pestering them.

Nice fishies,,,,,, BUT......GO CATS?????? What about BOILERMAKERS???? Seems to me ya live in Indiana. We,will know if Purdue advances in a couple of hours. So far I have 1.8 inches of rain and we don’t need anymore for sure. Mwind is gusting to 30 mph and temp has dropped from 58 to now 44 and will go lower. Major cold front!
