A lot of them spook, or just check your jig out and swim off.

Shoot me a message when the shellcracker start turning on, plan on coming down your way a few days and pestering them.

If the fish swim up to your bait and don't bite it means that your bait probably smells of gasoline and they refuse to bite. That or they just are not hungery. Crappie have good eye sight too. They can look at a fake bait and tell it's not real and swim away. But mostly they smell the bait and if it smells funny they won't bite. All the pro fishermen make sure that they wash their hands after gasing up the boat and truck and then add some type of scent to their baits.

Auburn and Michigan State defeat KY and Duke and are moving on. So they will play Texas Tech and Villanova in the final four.

Wear nitrile gloves when fueling vehicle or boat, also when pouring in fuel additive.
