Was a warm day with light winds so I decided to go to Prairie Creek and try to add to my catch of crappie went to my spot that I've been catching limits well make a long story short I got one small crappie and that was it took a trip on down to Summit Lake got skunked there inch and a quarter of rain high winds and several days of cold temperatures really put a hurt on the fishing skim ice when I started melted off partially better luck next time I guess

Yes they do charge a fee for bank fishing you can pay by the day or the year not sure what the charge is I pay $100 to launch my boat all year as for the question about whether I like Prairie Creek or Summit Lake better each lake has its time and place Prairie Creek is a good spring and summer and fall Lake summit's really tough in the summertime when the weather gets hot
I've got some buddies who wade from shore and catch a lot of prespawn walleye around this time of year but I just concentrate on the slabs!
This time of year, I go for walleye mostly. Once it warms up a little, I hit the crappie. Best crappie was 16.5 inch from PC
