Got on Lemon today at 6:15 in a light rain that lasted long enough to get everything soaked, then finally quit with clouds overhead all morning. Fishing today was slow with lots of dinks being caught even deep with crankbaits, speed was 1.4 to 1.8 in 10 to 16' of water culling a total of 18 fish that were mostly 10" to 14" and when cleaned only 3 were males all the rest were females, with half spawned out. I think that is the reason it was kinda slow as I finally quit at 12:30 pm and got off the water before the pleasure boaters took over and the heat built up. Best baits of the PICO Crankbaits were Mud Bug, Zombie, and Smokie Shad as I tried all colors but these were the best of the bunch. I was running them right close to the bottom on the breaks of the creek channel and snagged several times against tree stumps in the depths with no baits lost. Also tried shallow water, but no luck in the shallows from 5' deep down to about 8-9 ft. Water temp was 81. Enjoy the pic.
