    Default PICO's Slamed again today!

Fished 5 hrs again today, taking my time fore a limit and culling the 10's out, kept mostly all 11's to a couple of 15.5's. Had to keep a 9.5 and couple of 10s as they swallowed the crankbait. Didn't get time to lay them out as storm was coming after I got home,,so here is a couple of pics. Same pattern as yesterday, Hot colors were the same plus Zombie color rocked. the larger crappie are still in the deep water and haven't come up. At 7 this morning surface temp was 61, and by 12 it was 68. Get them while you can, as sooner or later they will spawn. Going to have a cold front come thru for a couple of days so that will keep the temps maybe down alittle but they still should hit as they are very hungry. Eggs still not totally ready either. Ah heck,,a side view pic..enjoy.

No cleaning station. Indiana’s 11th largest lake is actually owned by of the city of VBloomington that was built for city water. No water was ever pumped from it due to the building of Monroe Res. It has a one Ramp launch also and they charge 15 a day to use or 128.00 for a season pass. If you get there before the gate house opens, just go ahead and launch as they will place a envelope on your windshield and you can pay as you leave. This lake will get hammered by kids on jet skis as soon as school is out as well as sale boats, pleasure boaters, skiers etc. also, there,is a occassional USA Bass tourney once a month on Sat. 5/12, 6/9, and last one is 6/23. The bass guys will run right over you and at 3 pm is when they take out. 2 weeks ago, it took me till 4:30 pm to take out cause of them holding their weigh in and take out at that only ramp. Mix the pleasure boaters late in the afternoon and on a weekend can be a pain but thru the week is not as bad. Good luck fishing.
