Yep, I think about 80k fry and been that about same amount past few yrs.
Caught some crappie yesterday spider rigging. Not much size but cleaned some and I am sure that they will get eaten. Yum Fish were caught from 8 to 10 feet down. Shout out to the bait shop by the Interstate. Nice minnows and good count. Water temp 72. Friend caught a small walleye. Did they stock walleye this year?

didnt know the state still stocked fry. thought they learned their lesson years ago. the fry are just food for the resident fishes. lol 80,000 stocked sounds good though.

thanks for the link. i just remember them talking about the fry getting eaten up by the other fish at sylvan lake. thats why they switched to bigger stockers. i just assumed it was a state wide practice. sylvan really took off when the switched to the 6-7"ers.
They dump 10 million fry per year in Patoka and I used to snag a few eyes every year till Patoka lost every bit of weed cover of which I will never understand. I have fished it for eyes 4 times this year without snagging anything. Monroe was always good to snag a few and past couple of years as been super fickle. You could pick up some long lining jigs when fishing crappie. Only picked up 5 this year and 2 were dink walleye. Brookville has been hot this year but 3.5 hrs one way and makes for a long day and hit it once so far but will hammer it next year and maybe one more time this year as they draw it down. It is hit or miss when u fish it.

Click on the link, scroll down to bottom of page. Enter name of lake, county, species of fish, and year and it will post the results on the page it brings up at the bottom of it. It only goes back to and including 2014.

I saw 6 posts for 2016 with different numbers and sizes. Was just wondering if you add them all or just the last one?
