Default Fish stockings in the state by DNR

I thought I would post this for a tidbit of info if your interested in fish stockings in your favorite area.
    DNR: Indiana Fish Stocking

Makes no sense to me with DNR is releasing walleye for example at a size of 0.20 inches and the survival rate can't be great at that size. But it's our DNR doing the best they can, with the budget they have.

Walleye fry are very small and natural survival is minimal. It's very typical for states to collect eggs, hatch them, get them to survive and stock them small. Survival rate is higher than you would expect. Kansas used to do nothing except hatch them and stock the yolk sack fry with significantly higher survival rates.
