Been a while, thought Id say hey and post pics
Havent been on here in a long while. Thought Id say hey and post some pics from this yrGot into some walleye (never really caught any legal before) and I gotta say, I like the taste better than crappie. I kept about 18 of em this spring. Smallest was 14.75 inches and largest was around 23.5 inches (I think). Did catch a few crappie but they didnt seem like they got turned on this yr, not sure what happened as I was out fishing most days this spring.

Darn nice pictures thanks for sharing. I had eaten Walleye a few times in restaurants and always thought what is the big deal I like my crappie better. Then last year I caught a few one of them 5 lbs and when we ate those I changed my mind lol. They sure are tasty.

Nice catches! You're right, walleye do taste good and yellow perch we catch on Lk Michigan and Lk Erie taste
even better. Please don't get me wrong, I love nothing better than a tasty batch of crappie, but I miss not being
able to get out as often as I used to for deep, cold water walleye and perch. Great post and welcome back!
