    Default Love the holidays

We went out to missy today to fish for bass, Get out about 6:30, and fishing the small cove across from red bridge. Couple guys come flying in, past two other boats fishing for crappie. Throwing a big ole wake as they come half way back into the cove.

I sometimes just don't understand people. They had something like "crappie slayer" on the side of their boat, setup to spider rig, so it wasn't like they were new fishermen. Seems that folks get less considerate of others more and more each year.

Did notice there is a ton of shad this year, and the carp are starting to spawn. Hoping to spend some time catching crappie this week, have caught a few in the last week that were pretty good size.

Yes, that was me. I wouldn't of gone into the cove if anyone else had been in there, we came around the corner, and used the electric motor to go by the two guys out in the middle of it. Didn't want to disturb them. Just wanted to fish that bluff wall and the back corner before it got to busy.

Couldn't believe those two guys did that. If it hadn't of been a holiday weekend, when I expect people to be stupid, I'd of been arguing with them. As it was, I figured it was just another reason I shouldn't fish on holidays.

I don't fish on the holidays anymore and will fish in the morning. Been hard to sit out fishing with the weather, so mowed the grass, weed whacked everywhere, tilled and ho'ed the tiny weeds out of the garden, cleaned and tinkered with boat, and watched the nascar and Indy 500 race. Bored stiff. Lol but better than me slapping a water skeer or jet skeer with a Crankbait. Been there and done that too.

I know a boat that spider rigs and fishes there quite a bit that goes by crappie crusher on the side of the boat. Wasn't them was it? They fish the slab masters tournaments a lot.

I sat out all weekend until late this evening. Took my boy over and bank fished and nailed some big bluegill. Pretty happy to see the quality of gills over there. Only caught 1 good crappie tonight but got some good ones last week.

Well let me say I'm sorry first. No need to call me stupid. We were just excited to get out. Took a friend out to get him some fish. He hasn't been out much. I have been fishing in the way back of that cove on beaver hut for the past few days. That was quite a distance from where you guys were fishing. I didn't see u in particular until I was in the cove. Hope I didn't ruin your day at 7 in the morning. I left the area quickly so you should have been fine the rest of the day. The wake from my 16 ft Jon Boat with tiller handle shouldn't of killed your day. The fishing was on fire all day. Sorry u have to trash me on internet. Hope it made u feel better. There was also no need to come toward my boat and throw your Bass bait up on me. I got your point. But rude to rude. I get waked everyday out. Its part of it on holidays. But I'll try to correct it next time. I try to help a lot of fishern on Missy catch fish. Am not a bad guy names Jason. Its crappiecrusher also throught u would have got that since I was so close. Let it be known that a 16 foot jon boat with a tiller handle has rocked a bass boat with 250 on the back. I guess a few for the crappie guy and thousands of wakes from bass boat. Sorry again my bad.

I'm not calling anyone stupid or bashing anyone, on how they fish or what the fish out of. Size of your boat and motor doesn't matter. Its the common courtesy of slowing down when you go in between boats. Especially in a cove with standing timber. No call in it. Not the first time you've done it to me. I'm an open, honest person and I'll tell who ever what I think, face to face. We can talk about it at the next tourney if you want. I'm just saying have some courtesy and respect for others around you.
See me after the tournament we can talk, don't take it the wrong way like I'm wanting to throw down.

Bass boat doesn't have a 250, though wish it did. Its a 18ft boat, with a 150 actually. And don't think the type of boat makes much difference in all honesty. I've fished out of every kind of boat, from 10ft jons, pontoons, those little plastic bass hunters, row boats, canoes, whatever floats.

You seem to have a issue with bass boats, judging by the thousand of wakes from bass boats comments. I try real hard to not disturb anyone fishing, regardless of what they are fishing for or what kind of a boat they have. Never really understood why it matters what you fish for when it comes to being on the water. If it floats, and you like it, then use it. Personally I fish for bass, crappie, white bass, bluegill, and sometimes walleye.

As for me throwing a bait towards, you, I was actually already casting a swimbait out over that area when you came in. White bass were busting shad out there, until you pulled in fast and pushed them away. I was starting to move at a angle towards the telephone pole, as we had fished up and down the bluff already when you came in. I believe all of my casts were at least 20ft from your boat, and not sure how you pulling in that close to me should mean I should stop fishing. You said you didn't see us, and if that is the case then I understand and apologize.

If you'd like to discuss more, send me a pm and I'll give you my number.

Like I said am sorry. Didn't mean to rally everyone up. I'll be more carefully next time.
