Default Cold front windy day of fishing.

Wife wanted to fish so took her to lake Lemmon. Windy, morning was sunny, chilly, and lake was rocking with 1 to 2 ft. waves. If you fish this lake it's 15.00 to launch and all they have is a single ramp and most Friday's and weekends it's packed with hardly any where to park. Kept 21 tho long lining chartreuse tubes injected with crappie nibbles. All fish were 10-13" long. Threw back 40-50 dinks. Most were females full of eggs. Water was dingy to muddy. 70 water temp. Speed was hard to keep at 0.8 and boat control was touchy due to wind and waves. Sorry but when I got home at 6, the mosquitoes and knats chewed me up even tho I sprayed down so cleaned the fish and no pics. Wife had a great time, so mission accomplished.

We eat a lot of crappie especially using the recipe found on the main crappie forum. http://www.crappie.com/crappie/cooki...mesan-crappie/

This recipe can be modified any way you want, and is still awesome eating.
