    not overkill at all. especially with some of those mountains they call ramps at our reservoirs. when i fished down there i had a stick shift. i had a block on a chain attached to the fender support. when i drove out it drug rite along with me.

    Probably a Dodge with one of those knobs for a gear shift. Have not put mine in lake yet. But never get it in park. No gear shift just a knob
