    If you could take a crappie fishing trip where would you go and what time of year? Have you been there before.

    mid to late March to mid April Monroe yes I've been there

    Late Oct. early Nov. KY Lake. Everything is biting and everybody else is hunting. I'm there every year.

    Can't really say a particular lake but fall is less stressful as dvuks said with a lot of ppl hunting there's not many ppl out and crappie are putting on the feed bag for winter.

    definitely the strong fall bite. i wouldnt go anywhere to far from here. plenty of lakes with big crappie in the top of our state.

    Ky lake in april, but I like to bass fish more than anything else. Late april bass are up shallow, crappie are up shallow, and the bluegill/redear are biting as well.
