Well folks my buddy and I have been running the Cataract Slab Masters, going on now our 4th season. We do this on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the fishing months. We have decided to start a small club tourney at Monroe on the 1st an 3rd Tues of the fishing months. This club is basically the same as Cat S. M. except it will be a two man boat limit (with a few exceptions) Please check us out at Monroe Crappie Masters Rules and all info can be found there. This is a low key club. Monroe Crappie Masters club is a Indiana Crappie Federation sanctioned club. Teams can have a chance to fish in the Indiana Crappie Federation State Champion tourney. Indiana Crappie Federation

Hard to fish these during the week, not sure u will have the best teams in the state. Lots of young guys work all week to play hard on Saturday when it counts.

This club at monroe is for those of us that are retired or those who work nights. This club will be eligible to send a team to the State Championship. If there are some that can't fish through the week. They need to form a club get sanctioned and then they can send team or teams to represent their club at State. Because those individuals can't fish on Saturday?
At first glance (Cataract Slab Masters), it appeared you just didn't like competition. At second glance (Monroe Crappie Masters), it's glaringly obvious that you don't want competition. I guess some guys want to finish in the top 5 so bad that they just make sure there's no more than 5 boats to compete.
State Championship?
So we should start a weekend competition that only allows day working people to join. Haha

About the only consistent complaint we get is: Why don’t you fish on Saturday. I work. I can’ fish during the week.
O.K. so we get that. But, lot’s of our members don’t want to fish on Saturday for a variety reasons such as there are too many boats, the water is too rough, my spouse wants me home on weekends.
Solution: If you can’t fish on the days our clubs fish, how about considering starting a club of your own on the days you can fish. It’s not that hard to run a club; and, we would be happy to help get you started.

Tomtracker2 is correct. These clubs (Cataract Slab Masters, Monroe Crappie Masters) are not trying to keep any one out of competition. They are clubs that just want to fish through out the week. These guys and gals fish just as hard as anyone else that fishes on the week end. Any time that someone can get out, no matter what the day, it still counts. If you can't fish with us on the weekdays, give it time you will get there. If you want to fish on weekends then you will have to join some of the other organized clubs that fish on the weekends at various lakes or please start your own club or clubs, have this club join and be sanctioned by the ICF and then this club can send their respective teams to the State Championship. The state tourney will be made up of teams from through out the state of Indiana. All clubs have their Classic Champions but nowhere is there a state champion, this is venue that all clubs can come together with their best and one will be recognized as the best. It may start out slow but it will happen. If a person wanted to participate in the Olympics you would not ask them to change their schedule to fit your needs. You would find a way to get there.
