Default Tough first two days on Patoka Lake

We have fished from daylight to dark Sunday and Monday on Patoka. I have never seen like the short fish. We have caught well over 80 fish in the last two days with only one or two "keeper" fish. I am just giving my report an I hope someone else can post on here a better one. I know there are better fish in this lake we just have to find them. Gook Luck to all that are fishing the Classic and be safe!!

Hang in there tomorrow will be better. That cold front friday/Saturday has the fish a little off if you ask me.

if I recall correctly the water temp was 66. but I could be wrong. we fished from 4' to 40' and that's no lie. caught fish at 38' on brush in the main lake. going back after them this morning , Good Luck

Is there any submerge or emerge grass there this year? Are the shad in the coves?

Grass is pretty well gone due to the high water this summer. There are shad back in the creeks.
