Thread: Unusual Sightings.

Chuck since you like to squirrel hunt give me a shout this winter. I got a squirrel dog I hunt her a lot late squirrel season after the leaves are gone and most of the deer season is winding down. Last January she started treeing good and will only get better she is out of UKC world champion stock. Its a blast I sling a rifle over my shoulder a pair of good binoculars around my neck and a good pair of boots. I have worked with her this summer to retrieve that sure would of came in handy a couple of times last year. We could meet and go somewhere perhaps Patoka Lake. But anywhere with trees works. I love taking kids too its a great way to get a young hunter addicted to the outdoors.

Fishing was good for a while catches of 25 to 61 then last weedend water temps in the high 80's fishing was poor. going this afternoon. Hoping the cooler weather has turned them on again. Let ya'all know.

Didn'y do to bad considering Depth finder went south bout 1/2 way thru the trip. We had 18 1/2 lb Crappie. Respectable but not as good as we would have done with a working depth finder.. Wind didn.t help much either.
