Lake is super high and rising with last nites rain. Watched a pontoon boat squeeze under 145 bridge after telling them lake was still coming up and they might get caught on other side if they stayed on main body too long, lol. Tried cranking Painter,,with no luck, but did catch a few small dinks and lots of yellow bass before catch couple of 10 inchers in a north bay near main lake, then went out to the islands north of swimming beach. Caught a couple on cranks at the island closest to beach about 11" and tried the island north of it,,which is totally now under water,,all fish suspended everywhere with high pressure system,,no luck around it with pleasure boaters rocking me by 11am so got off lake and decided to wait for a weekday to hit it all again. Be careful where you launch as at Painter Creek,,you will step in lots of Goose Poo.
