If your asking about the one on the river. Checked the temp today,,of it,,,51 and pure muddy, and river coming up and its about 50,,,and pure mud. Earlier today,,got a weather alert on phone,,they were predicting as much as 1.25 inches of rain beginning Monday thru wed. And another as much as 3 inches from Wed nite thru Friday. High water to last thru April 20th. Hope to heck they are wrong. Its going to end up being a wipeout on cchasing crappies, the Sauger run, and early Bass run in the mouths of the creeks feeding the river again this year due to mud and high water if we get that much more rain. I am sitting here squiming with gear/boat checked 9 times, trying to decide if I am going to get wet,,either hitting the Cat. or Monroe, but not wasting a lot of time on Patoka or Dogwood this year like I did quite a few times last year. Long run and back to the Cat for me tho..makes a long day with the 3-4 hrs wasted on just driving round trip. Fished a lot of muddy water last spring.

I have seen 3 boats on slough if its the same one we both are talking about and one was a river guide (he fished it wed) who said" no fish in it like the last couple of years, but I can't believe that and was going to hit it as soon as the mud clears a bit myself. But right now,,pure mud.
