Nice mess of gills. Gotta ask though, what is beemoth? I would have been using crickets and/or redworms. Keep saying I am going to try meal worms but never remember to get any.
Caught 23 nice gills today. Not gonna wait on the hard water if I don't need to. Largest was 10 inch but most were 9+. Slip bobber set around 10 foot, beemoth, along a weed line in 15fow.

Mark 1:17 ...I will make you fishers of men
Nice catch there. They look tasty already.
Here fishy, fishy, fishy...
Congrats Nice catch
Good catch The hard water is on it's way.
Awesome catch jpdawg. I could envision those frying up in my fish cooker right about now. And to SeaRay, I have found that most people in the south do not know what wax worms / bee moths are. Bait stores just do not even carry them there, so I suppose people don't use them. Even in Indiana, I have found that most in the northern part seem to call them wax worms, while down here in the lower part of the state we tend to call them bee moths although we are really talking about the larvae of the bee moth. And to correct bouncer, Meal worms are a totally different thing. Often these are popular up here for ice fishing bait and another reason not so well known down south. I like crappie, but have a soft spot for a good mess of gills.

Nice batch of gills. Love catchin gills.
Nice gills. My fishing buddy is not right in the head and he calls them "Bee Maw's" In fact the sticker on his truck says I (heart) B MAWS. the sad part is he is an educator in our local school system. I hope he doesn't read this.
