Default Strip Pits Greene-Sullivan , Linton area

I am going to spend next weekend in the Linton ,Greene -Sullivan area. I've not fished there since the mid 70s .Any info on what pit is good for crappie and gills would be greatly appreciated . PM me if you want to keep it between you and me ..Thanks ..Norm

Having grown up on strip pits , crappie like dirty water strip pits rather than clear ones that are not real deep, say up to 15 feet deep. We own some of both and i have tried over the years to get crappie started in clear pits but not much success. I think our clear pits are all steep banked, not much flats and ledges for them. Gills , a spinner with a live worm is killer this time of year. I know this isnt a perticular pit but i hope the info might help.

I would give Graveyard a try. You could ask at the Bass Pro Shop in Linton. Yes BPS!
