    Default Old poles

    Hi
Does anyone in Indiana buy old fishing poles from the late 1950's? I found several of my dad's old cane poles and bait casting reels on fiberglass poles that I MIGHT consider selling, old lures too.
    Thanks

I'd check online .... under "antique fishing lures/reels/poles" and make sure you're not selling these things for pennies on the dollar. Collectors & collector sellers would have prices listed on their websites.

And just a FYI note .... I've seen where the original "boxes" that these lures & reels came in, have sold for more $$ than what the antique lure or reel is worth

You are correct on the boxes. I work a lot of auctions and I see that all of the time. If you are willing to sell any of the items shot me a PM. I have a lot of friends that buy the old stuff.

what old lures do you have, pics available? I collect old lures, have a number of old reels and rods...even have a split bamboo ocean fishing rod with copper guides...interested
Roaming the banks of the Kankakee River and anywhere else fish might lurk.
