Managed to catch roughly 20 crappie in about a hour in the evening. Found them stacked in a very small area, maybe 15ft or so. Didn't keep any, but was fun to catch fish. All fishing jigs vertically, suspect I could have caught them pretty well casting road runners, but didn't try it. Fish were on a channel edge in 13-25 ft of water close to bottom.

Sounds like my kind of fun.
