Default Bass Pro Shops Crappie Madness

    Hey Fellas,
Just a heads up, Bass Pro Shops in Cincinnati is holding its inaugural "Crappie Madness" event on the 7-8 and 14-15. I'll be there with Mike Walters on Friday and Saturday, Russ Bailey will be there the 14-15! Come on down and let's talk some fishing!!
Ask me about: Bobby Garland, CrappiePro, Yeti Coolers, Power-Pole, and Simms Products!

listen to him on Friday night and it was loaded with good information. I was on at 11:00 yesterday, and what a crowd... It was great talking crappie fishing and dipping jigs in the fish tank! No doubt the area is loaded with crappie anglers! I have a feeling that BP will be having this event again next year!

A lot of cabin fever out there for people who don't ice fish and are tired of snow, with visions of hawg crappie dancing in their head. I tried to get my son-in-law who lives 10 minutes away to come over and heckle you, but he hates crappie fishing. Probably because he's mostly caught them while pulling crankbaits with me and says they fight like a wet dish rag, lol. He hasn't gotten intimate with the "Thump" yet. OK, I'll go back and eat my sandwich now.

Glad you guys had a great turnout. BPS Clarksville had an awesome turnout, too. The woman over the events said it was the largest crowd they had ever had, regardless of topic or demonstration. I suspect next weekend will probably be just as successful for them. Seems like, not only does everyone not have a single thing to do, but there are an awful lot of people starving for information.

There are a lot of Crappie fisherman around here just itching to get out, including myself and a seminar and sale in such crappy (pardon the pun) weather is just what the doctor ordered. Really glad to hear local pros that fish Our waters talk too!
