    Default Cold water fishing

Thinking about going Crappie and Bluegill fishin next week. Going to try to make it to Patoka and launching at either Walls or Painters Creek.
How would you go about fishing in these places? What color jigs or Would minnows be better? (assuming I can find them)

You'll be fine launching. The deer and ducks hunters have been going out. I haven't been out there for awhile look for schools and try. I would stop and get some minnows to. I heard a guy caught almost a 4 pounds. north lick area this week, it was on the fishing report. I would put in at painters.

Fish slow, start deep, and use your electroncis. I fished today and caught a decent mess around 25' on brushpiles.
