    yeah I'll take all the bass you don't want too, great eating...rather have crappies and gills, but bass and gills are related - both taste great

    I favor catching green carp, but its a ton of fun when you get one like that on crappie rod. Thats a good one, you guys will be throwing spinner baits next time out.

    My daughter who was trained in culinary in her early carreer, get's PO'd if we catch a green carp and want to throw it back. She's always rambling something about the oil content of the bass flesh and how good it is. Of course , this is the same kid that wanted to try Gar...LOL. She's always an interesting and entertaining person to be around. That one would be mighty tasty on the grill.
