Does anyone know if there are any tournaments on Geist this weekend? How is the water? I live 15 minutes from it but have never fished. I am thinking of giving it a try this weekend. How is the crappie fishing on it?

There are almost always bass tournaments this time of year. Most likely still up and muddy

Thanks. Is there usually plenty of parking during the tournaments. Also where's a good place to target crappie?

If your fishing there on a weekend, get there as early as possible. Ramp will be crazy with bass tourneys. Try to fish it during the week. Fish docks and weed lines this time of year. As of tonight lake is back down to normal pool but im sure its still pretty stained.
