Heard about it after getting back. Gonna dam-up the mighty white, and flood the area where Mounds Mall is, clear to Chesterfield. Guess it's a C.O.E. project

the only way it would be good is if it was for the people to use for free. huge waste of tax dollars other than that. even then it will run some poor folks off their "family land".

from what i hear its just another land management scam, not a "public lake". supposed to line the pockets of a few richies with our tax dollars. just another geist res. HOLE, in the end. talk is cheap though. lol

Doubt it will happen. One of the things I saw in an article is it IS supposed to be like Geist - draw large expensive housing around it.
Frankly, I'll be shocked if it happens in my lifetime. Anderson needs to simply start over - if possible.

Don't need anymore Geists. If they are going to do it buy enough land around it to make it people friendly. They do need to do something to cheer up the folks in Anderson. Way to many still live in the GM dominated past.

I was told it was for Indianapolis water supply (because they can't meet demands). My cousin owns property nearby, hope someone offers him a bunch of money for it
