Thread: Will the Spawn Start Earlier this year ?

I have been seeing a lot of Turkeys down here also. It will get greener faster this Spring, so that may effect the Turkey Hunting. Some species of trees and floweres are already blooming here around KY Lake.

Yes, you will have a early spawn if it stays warm. I am already seeing turkeys mate,,and I have never seen them mate this early. Ever! Tom's above my house are going nuts gobbling, and turkey season last year was screwy cause they bred so early, and they have never bred this early. In alot of shallow lakes especially in southern Indiana, you may have 2 spawns this year even depending on the species of fish.

The water temps are really warming on Kentucky Lake.
