Hey, welcome aboard! I wish you luck on Monroe. With it being so large, it's a place that does take some time to find good fish. I'm still trying to find some sort of consistency over there, myself. Good luck to you!
Hey everyone I'm a new member to crappie.com. My name is Joe and I am looking for good folks to fish with on lake monroe. Hoping to find someone who can teach me a little about fishing on big water. I have done a lot of pond and small lake fishing. Mostly slip float w minnows. Have caught quite a bit w road runners too. I will gladly pitch in on gas and bait and will even let you have my catch. I live in Spencer IN so I'm not too far from lake Monroe. If anyone is interested in giving a few lessons on big water methods send me a message. Thanks a lot and good fishing to everybody!

Monroe is a very difficult lake to figure out how to catch big crappie on. I'm still trying to learn that big body of water.
There are some real monsters in there but you will find that 99% of the fish will be 6 to 8" long.
Welcome to Crappie.com you will learn a lot from this site. There are a lot of great fisherman on here that will share techniques that work the best for them giving the situation they face.

I'm new to Crappie.com, not to Crappie fishing. Looking forward to trying Monroe this year. Any hints will help. Will help with Cataract. Had a house at head of the Cuenot ramp, got it pretty well dialed in, loking for a new challenge.
Carguy, welcome to the site as well! Only hint I can give about Monroe is fish, fish....when you get done, fish some more.
