I would agree with some that politics doesnt seem to be a topic for a fishing board. But let me throw something out there for you "Outdoorsmen" to think about....I fall on the political side of the fence that aint trying to take away my guns or my fishing poles.........So in that regard, yes, politics does play a role in fishing and hunting sites everywhere.

I get emails like this all the time. I don't have the time, nor the energy to make sure the things that are written are truths. That's also the reason I don't send them on. I think that's the main reason why people don't like to see this here. Most of us try to give factual information and observations.

WE are the problems, WE are the ones who allow any of this, WE the people...

To single out any one of WE is taking the easy way out...kinda like suicide.

Well, like I stated earlier, you can't argue with an idiot, and post 12 and 14 are prime examples of why that would be a losing battle. I have been a member of this site for a long time, and really enjoy reading alot of the post on here, but when "one of the guys in charge" can't take an unbiased look at the thread and remove it, and instead adds fuel to the fire, I have no use for how this site is being conducted. As for the "Outdoorsman" out there to think about, we are all one, regardless which side of the fence you are on, and if you lose your gun rights, you've done that on your own through the legal system. If you are dumb enough to think that anyone is going to take your basic gun rights away, you are an uneducated idiot. The Bill of Rights was signed into effect on December 15, 1791, which includes the Second Amendment to bear arms, and nothing has changed since. Never has, never will. And as far as "taking away your fishing pole", show me a credible bill written by the House or Senate that says the government is going to come to your house and take your fishing pole away. Until then, keep listening to the same unreliable sources that wrote the same bull**** "facts" that started this whole conversation. Until then, keep being the idiots spreading the word, none of which is true.

Politics today or in any time frame is a hot topic. We have plenty of issues here at home and abroad. One thing that has always puzzled me is the formation of the "two-party" system we have in place. I think back to my youth growing up in the 70's and how the party system was then and how it is now.

Kinda funny how back in the day that the Democrats always carried the South, or in those days "The Bible Belt" in Presidential Elections. Conversely, Republicans seemed to always carry the urban centers. Nowadays it is completely opposite. Has their core values changed so much? Or is it that we have more issues to deal with these days and certain beliefs get lost in the shuffle?

I was born a Conservative(My Mother would argue that) and those values seem to fit with my beliefs. However there are certain issues that I am very Liberal on(Dont tell my Father). But in either case our system is broken. The "two-party" system has let us, the American people down. No matter which side you fall on. Our forefathers would be heartbroken if they saw the state of our government right now. This is not what the envisioned when they signed The Declaration of Independence or put the Constitution in place.

I dont know the answers to the problems that we have in this country. I just know that what we are doing aint working. With all that being said..............I am gonna mow!!!!!!!!

I didnt see anything wrong with the post but I will say "If you dont like whats been posted, dont read it or reply to it" plain and simple. If you were pro-obama, you probably wouldn't agree with it anyway. Its posts like this that I enjoy reading and watching everyone jump on the band wagon to bash and chime in. Its all fun, LOL
