    The way the weather has been around here this year it's liable to be snowing by the start of summer. Gonna have to start plannin on ice fishin in July. Rofl

    I miss the milder Indiana summers, down here on the Kentucky/ Tennessee border it is 90 to 100 degrees pretty much every day from June until the middle of September.

    It was 98 degrees last weekend. Today I think it was 94. It's been the the mid to upper 90's for several days now.

    Sadly we often have 70 to 90 days each summer that are 90 degrees or hotter.

    It may be cooler today, but yesterday the heat index in NW Indiana was 103
    Roaming the banks of the Kankakee River and anywhere else fish might lurk.

    Well,,,I am still fishing this weekend somewhere,,screw the weather,,guess if you see a guy in a jon boat,,with his camo umbrella over him,,you know its me..trying to keep alittle cool..lol

    A friend of mine,,let his 4 yr old dog out of the house day before yesterday,,and the dang dog died in less than 3 hrs of heat stroke,,really tore him up to find it dead,,so be ware of the heat...and drink lots of H2O or gator aid.
