Thread: Salamonie 5/29/10

My wife and I went out to do some evening crappie fishing and didn't do well. We caught about 12 - 7" crappies and 1 - 12" channel cat. We fished anywhere from 2' - 15'.

The A.C.E. finally started dumping the excess water. The water level has dropped 1.6' over the last 24 hours. I am sure this may have had something to do with our lack of success. It may have been just us too.

Has anyone else had any luck at Salamonie? Just curious.

Whoops...The date should have been 5/28/10 not 5/29/10. I guess I was seeing into the future of what we would have caught had we went tonight. That's better than any fish finder on the market.

Sons were there yesterday, they said it's a real mess, one ramp closed because of drifted in timber and the water really murky. Read your report, was surprised you managed anything. Unless of course they exaggerate, they tend to do that.
