Question Anyone familiar with Blue Lake west of Churubusco,In.

This morning while taking my 'new to me' tow vehicle for a test drive,I went up
into Churubusco,In. Just a short distance west of there is a lake called "Blue
Lake",...anyone here familiar with it? What species of fish does it contain and
is it a lake worth giving a try? This lake was a 'new discovery' for me this morning.

    Question

Perch, huh? Well,...along with 'gills and crappie,I do like perch as well. If the rain would just quit long enough,I may just make a trip up there Monday,Rico,...and
take a shot at it just for fun. What type of live bait would you suggest I try?

I've never done much good there except in winter on the ice for bluegills. Of course this year, I didn't do a lot of good anywhere.

I would suggest the normal stuff(redworms, beemoths) but you may want to try some crickets.

Thanks for the tip there,Rico. If the weather does what it says it is suppose
to do tomorrow,I may just take a shot at it for what may be my final trip of
    the year,...maybe!

How's the lake been in the fall for you? I want to hit it before it gets too cold
to be out in the boat!
