I tried that website and all I see is someones website to sell stuff.... I can not imagine our club members leaving a mess in a parking lot... I sure hope this person knows there was a big bass tournament there as well and they didn't confuse our club with them.... Also the parking lot is used by a lot of other boaters so to claim our club left a mess with out absolute sure it was us then shame on them.
This club has been around for four years now and we have never had one single complaint because we have great people in our club and they all care about the clubs image...
I was there and when I left I did not see anything in the lot.... I certainly hope who ever was the last to leave can say the same.

Tom I read it last night. I had to join. It's named morse. The guy shouldn't point the blame if he never saw a club member do that. Like you stated a lot people used parking area.

I joined also and read it. The guy stated that there was a slab masters tournament, and a bass tournament going on, but did put the blame on th ISM. Stated the parking lot was full of trash/wrappers, and dead minnows. He said someone should have reported us to the Marina, and maybe they wouldn't let us fish there again.
I can't see any of our club members throwing there trash around, maybe that guy would go look under the carrigan road bridge, more then just our club uses that water.

I also saw it posted on Indiana Walleye
I also saw where he claimed to see over 50 dead crappie floating at the ramp. His claims were simply not true. There were minnows poured out in the parking lot, I saw that. But as far as a bunch of food wrappers and the dead crappie at the ramp, I can say that I was probably one of the last if not the last to leave & I had fish in the aerated cooler of water to release and they were all still very much alive and eagerly swam away when released. There was not one dead fish crappie or otherwise "floating " at the ramp. I know who this guy is as I have seen him several times there. He was launching as all of the members were coming in for the weigh in. He wasn't too happy because he was going crappie fishing and the lake had been hammered in his opinion.
It is a real shame that some are quick to slam our organization when we do our best to teach and preserve crappie fishing of the future by teaching selective harvesting and teaching the youths to fish. Thank you to all the members who are crappie.com members and care about such things!
Good Fishing and hope to see you all on the 23rd at Tanners Creek!
