Thanks for the info. I have been trying to get a few guys I know interested in coming up, but no definite answers yet.

??? Special Weigh-in line opening time due to size of lake ???
Brookville Lake is not as big as Patoka or Lake Monroe....
each of these 2 lake has very large idle & no wake zone...
this new weigh in time will only make it a longer day & later getting home...
What will be the time for the Ohio river

Larry, you are more than welcome to join the officers or advisory board next year. We are always looking for teams that don't mind stopping their fishing day early in order to get back to the ramp and get everything set up. You are correct, Patoka is a larger lake. Using that as a perfect
example, we sure could've used some extra time there. If you know anyone willing to volunteer their time to handle registration and weigh ins, speak up. Until then, it's still a club run by club members that want to be out there fishing just as much as you. If you want to continue to penalize members for wanting to help the club, the future will be grim.

hello filletfetish
" it's still a club run by club members"... i to am a member...
" If you want to continue to penalize members"... wth are you taking about...
this was not an attack on any member or the club...
i don't see anything wrong with the new times, my only question was the reason...
Indiana Slab Masters is a very well ran, Jim and all the guys do a great job...
we all start and stop at the same time... if the officers need more time to get back to the ramp safely
to get everything set up and it make everthing less stressful... then make it so...
i stop fishing at most tournaments between 2:30 and 2:40 so i can get back in time...
weigh-in line closes at 4:30pm will benefit everyone...
filletfetish this was not meant to offend anyone...

I don't think a half hour is going to make that big of a difference.

Thanks for the understanding! We are going to be short a officer and we still have a relatively new crew of men still learning to keep up the same standards we have all enjoyed in the past along with having an electronic leader board this year. This lake is further away than most and the extra time will really help us, along with allowing the officers of the club enough time to fish until the 3:00 quit time. Most of us don't get to start at the 7:00am start time every tournament so at least having the opportunity to finish the tournament is a plus.
I hope to see everyone there the lake ought to be in very good shape as it was rapidly clearing last weekend and not a lot of rain since then.
Good luck to everyone coming!

I am ready to go! I went out today and seined me a bunch of good minnows out of the creek,1-4 inchers.

for anybody that is coming in south of Brookville on us52, it is closed about 2miles out of town. you will have to take Holland rd. or st. peters rd. at st. leon to highland center. be careful because the roads are narrow and steep curvy hills.

well I had high hopes of fishing this tour. with my dad. I told him the day before to make sure and be at the ramp early. well I was the one that couldn't sleep that night. I didnt wake up till 6:15! my dad was not happy! I hope it was a good time for everybody that attended. I know the wind got rough out there and am sure it had an impact on the fishing.
