I've lived here my whole life and know the creeks pretty dern well and never understood why the pleasure boaters fly nearly wide open down the creeks, driftwood, submerged logs and whatnot, been many an accident on the creeks every year. But with every year a new daredevil is born I guess...lol
It's just about being out there, doing what you enjoy.

FYI... KY has a reciprocal agreement with IN for fishing the OH River. Valid IN license permits fishing OH & tributaries on both sides (KY & IN). Those reading that know more, please correct or add to my comment. It's so good to hear the positive results. Congrats!

    Good fishing to all!

A fishing license reciprocity agreement between Indiana and Kentucky allows that each state will recognize the license issued by the other state on the main stem of the Ohio River, excluding embayments and tributaries. This means you can fish the Ohio River bank to bank with a license issued by either state. To fish embayments or tributaries, you must obtain a license from that state. An angler must abide by the regulations of the state by which they are licensed except that when fishing from the bank they shall follow the regulations of the state in which they are fishing.

I've been down there a few times in the past couple months and have had decent trips every time out. I haven't fished the same area twice, so there are good fish in every creek if I am out there catching them.
