    Thanks for the update Don...
So happy to hear he is feeling better and is already looking forward to fishing Patoka...

I look forward to fishing with you guys again.
Kinda sounds like your mom might have her hands full trying to keep him from doing to much for awhile...Lol!

I'm sure he's already tried to either mow the grass, work in the garden or wash the boat! Yeah, mom will have her hands full, but I'm pretty sure she's used to it. I tried to give them a buzz today when I got home from work, but they don't appear to be at home. I figure they are out grabbing a bite to eat or something. Must be nice to be retired!

Just got off the phone with my dad... He's back to normal it sounds like but I think he's still got some of that pain medicine in his veins. He told me the Doc told him it was all due to cold getting to him! He got some medicine at Reid that was more powerful than Morphine, but it shouldn't have lasted this long! lol I believe my mother told me he had to go back to the Columbus Hospital this week for a "stress test" and some other test that he can't eat 24 hours before. But he didn't mention that. All in all, it appears everything is okay at this point. We didn't talk long about his condition, it was all about fishing for him. He's looking forward to the Patoka tournament and has apprently already squared away some of his gear for the trip. So unless anything changes, this'll be my last post on the subject.

Thanks again for all the thoughts and prayers and see you all on the lake soon enough!

    Don

Hello, I am glad to hear your father is doing better...what a scare I'm sure it was for you! The reason I reply, the fella that helped you all out was Bill Wagner he is the owner of Hawgtied Custom Lures he was not there fishing in the Bass tourny he was just there fishing in general. Again, so glad everything turned out ok.

Thank you for that information! I was sure he told me he was in that tournament (positive in fact) but who knows. Things were pretty hectic and downright messed up. I'll be getting in contact with him!

No problem, and you could be right on the tourny he just didn't mention that he was fishing it. Either way glad your pops is doing better!

Don, I don't know you, but sure can empathize with you, as my sis and I have just been through similar issues with my 87 year old mom. God bless your dad and your family who are dealing with it. I know first hand what it is like and there is nothing else in the world that comes close to losing your mom or dad. Prayers for your dad and all your family at this time. Deb
