Tourney question

I heard a good comment the other day from Ronnie Capps, stating how they used to win tournaments pretty easily, but now the playing field has leveled out a lot more due to all the technology like side imaging and he's having a tougher time. I couldn't hold a candle to most of the ISM guys, and not my cup of tea, but enjoy looking at the results. Besides, I don't want to just hand my money over to Glen and Tom either...I'd rather spend it on fishing equipment. I'm also thinking Tom will be especially cruel this yr because he has a new boat to pay for...lol. GLTA.

Well HHD I'm glad you think so highly of Glenn and myself and our ability to win.... However I don't feel the same way because the fisherman we have in our club are great fisherman and to win or even place in the top five isn't easy...
I'm very proud of what we accomplished in 2011 and 2012. Like Ronnie Capps said the playing field is getting even and it's tougher and tougher to win.
That doesn't mean we aren't going to give 100% every time.
Everyone shows up to have fun but most of all everyone plays to win.

But I do like the thought of paying for the new my new ride with tournament winnings....Lol!

I guess we will just have to see how we do this year. i only plan on fishen 2 tourneys but will fish more if we place good.

Don't let them guy's get in your head... By all means come out and fish with us. Don't worry about where you place it's all about learning new lakes and new techniques as well as making new friends.
We all have fun win or loose.
This club has certainly made me and alot of others better crappie fisherman.
Fish four and qualify for the classic. Good times at the dinner we put on for everyone to enjoy the night before the classic starts.

crappiemaster that is what i hope to do by fishing this tourney. my goal is to be a better crappie fisherman. Ive been in a crappie boat for over 20 years and im only 29. I hope to fish the classic but how we do and our schedules may keep us from it this year. I guess we will just see what happens. Im in no way turned off by a lot of awsome compatetion, thats what im doing it for. My fishen buddy and i have accomplished some incredible things over the years and its time to see where we stand. Im looking foreward to fishing with all of you..................
