Thread: suggestion

In the garage I never keep my seats folded down always open and all lids are open slightly just to keep air circulating. Boat is 14 years old and no problems. and is a Bass boat style with all the carpet and such. Everything still works, never had to replace a thing other than batteries. While boat is in garage I turn all switches on at least for a second to keep things moving. the worst thing for a boat is to sit idle, it does not have to be put in the water just turn it on for a split second (bilge, lights switches, radio, gps, d finder, everything. My boat is used at least once a week, from middle of march when ice is out till ice on the boat ramps won't let me put in. If you don't use it you will LOSE it. Could try Armoral for the seats that my help.

Maybe you could put a trash bag over them when you are not fishing. Make sure they are good and dry before you put the bag on them. They probably just get night moisture on them. Good luck.

Mr. Clean Magic Eraser will clean the mold and most any other stains on the seats. It really looks like magic the way it cleans, and it is safe on leather and vinyl and most other surfaces. Mine get some mold or mildew on them but I have mine under a cover. I have a center support bar and open ends to help air movement but they still get mold.

Thanks guys i do use armoral on the seats, i will try the trash bag idea never thought about that heck i think i will use all 3 the armoral, trash bag and Mr. Clean Magic Eraser
