Auto reset.

It's a matter of what you want. Do you want to manually reset the breaker or do you want it to auto reset? Your choice. One is not better then the other. If you are tripping the breaker no matter what style or type you need to do some investigating anyway.
Auto reset by all means, but the draw back is it may take a few seconds to a minute for it to reset, I have seen the manuel rest breakres go bad because they get moisture in them and corrode and quit working.

You just posted in the thread "depth locator" that you just installed a circuit breaker on your trolling motor battery. Now you're on the net looking for a breaker. CONFUSING to say the least.
