Hey,, catdaddy...I just read this...LOL. Hadn't thought of it...but guess it would work...anything to slow the locator down. He's a serious stick when it comes to quick creek. If you've ever seen me trying to peel any stickers off anything...you know it's a nightmare for me.

Back to the subject at hand though... lots of low lifes out there lately. We just had a local country church broken into this past week...2nd time in the last few months. The church has been there since 1865 and a majority of those years without being locked, and only after a previous break in this past year did we have to wire it up with ADT. Stupid people broke into a window even though the ADT sticker was on the window. They didn't stay long nor steal anything this time though as the alarm was activated.

Lot's of "tweakers" out there now...they will steal anything that is metal. They've even started stealing pieces off of bridges. A while back I saw this little old compact car with about 3 different paint colors on it...flying down the county road in front of my house and on top he had this section of pipe...looked like about a 4 foot section of 2 foot diameter steel gas line pipe...like what you see in the major pipelines crossing this area. That kid was bopping along with that piece of pipe...looked comical to me. It could have been a legitimate recycling find, but I doubt it. The gas line folks were replacing some of the line during that time and they always take the pipe that has been taken out back for inspection. I have a feeling they came up missing a piece. I'm afraid someone around here is going to come face to face to the wrong end of a gun one of these days. A lot of the mischief around here seems to be driven by drug usage, and especially meth. But peeling stickers off a boat, that is just plain stupidity or mischief.

If its like it is here, when the warden checks your fish, license and such, he also asks to see your boat registration. Hopefully they will catch this @$$ hole!
