OK cevans & river scum. EXPLAIN to me how it is BO's fault and not CONGRESS and the special interest groups that bought them off! And lets not forget the supreme court said CORPORATIONS ARE INDIVIDUALS which allowed an unlimited amount of CASH into the politicians pockets!!!

Just a reminder to keep this Civil

It doesn't matter who is in office, from the presidents spot clear down to the area rep's. They are all in it for the money! They may have the thought and desire to "Do for the People" but then they get bought out to sway with the others. It don't matter how many letters or phone calls an office gets, they are gonna do what ever they want. Thats the way it is!! When things do get bad, THEY will be alright with their full pockets. I dont worry about goverment issues and what they are gonna do anymore! I have a job(For Now)! I just try to keep me and mine afloat, I try to enjoy everyday I have and time with family and keep them close. I try to enjoy the fishing, hunting and outdoors while I still can afford to. Oh, BTW, Im 42 y/o and I have never voted, seems pointless! Enjoy your day!
Panfish I completely understand where you are coming from, but, you know as well as I, if you let anyone do as they please, they will for their benefit! Elections are meant to get rid of those that do...
I'm sorry to be so negative about this but "When was the last time a public official really stood up and made a change? He may have talked about saving something or doing something on a topic but in the end he just ended up "Goin with the flow" and got swayed! I would vote if it would really had an impact of who was elected, it just seems they vote out "Bad Apple" and another one with good intentions(at the start) just turns out the same as the last.
If everyone thought like that nothing would ever change. The politicians have the public brainwashed. VOTE them all out! I don't care what party the incumbents belong, get rid of the liars/cheats and general greedy ^%#@!*!. They care about nothing except power, money and getting re-elected.
I write Burton, Coats and Lugar every time I read or hear something that I don't like. I will admit, I am real tired of getting back responses that are nothing but form letters made for a particular subject. It's time for new blood in Congress...
I agree with you on getting rid of the deadwood we have. Last election we sent a pretty strong change but that should just be viewed as a warning shot to the career politicians that we are sick of the same old same old. Only way to change this is with term limits but who in DC is going to bring that up?
