2lbs6oz 16 1/2 inches came out of Grenada Lake Miss
Just another Crappie day!
Stick yo jig in there!
2.25 lb SLAB FROM KINKAID LAKE :
They're still danged impressive. Too bad they came from Missouri. This first pic was a scan of an article in the Missouri Conservationist mag a few years ago. I think the 'undisclosed' lake was Honeywell in North Central MO.
It's almost unreal and I'm SURE I'da done one of those 'stringer mounts' after a day like this.
The next were a couple photos takes of a MO conservation worker after doing some netting surveys (for Muskie if I remember) but they caught some of these rascals. Same lake I think...
and the same fish on a scale. Isn't that just a freaking hog???
Enjoy!!!
pesce LIKED above post
Thought I would add on to this. 18 inch crappie from a farm pond yesterday.
And a 43.9 pound Bluecat caught at Powerton lake a few weeks ago. The year has started off right.
love the pics
