I can't thank Chip and his mechanic Ryan enough. I bought a Minnkota Ulterra from Chip's 5 years ago. It has been a constant source of trouble for the whole time I have owned it. It died on me last fall and I decided to wait until spring to get it fixed as didn't want to spend the money to have it set all winter. I took it in several weeks ago and they called telling me the cost of repairs. Knowing what I had paid for the TM and how much it would be to get it running again I decided to pass and told them I would pick the boat up as it is. Within a few hours Ryan called me and explained that he had talked to Minnkota and explained to them all of the troubles I have had with that TM. It had been in the shop every year at least once I believe. They agreed to cover the cost and I agreed to pay the amount of services to that point. A week later Ryan called again and told me there were more issues than initially thought and that he had called Minnkota again and they were shipping him additional parts and putting them under warranty as well. I picked the boat up Saturday and was amazed to learn that there was no charge for the repairs at all. I just want to give a special thanks to Ryan, Chip's and everyone else involved for going above and beyond what was required of them.
I highly recommend Chip's Marine for any services needed. Count me as a life time customer!!!
