    Default Lake Mattoon 12/26/23


    Crappie were biting pretty good today. Kept 10 overs in about 2 hours. Found them in from 2 to 6 feet of water with a jig about 18 inches below a bobber. Used chartreuse and black flakes with pink head. Water temp was about 43 degrees.

    Well done. I had called it quits for the year but……maybe I’ll go 1 more time.
