Sounds like a good day of fishing to me
Found fish from 3’ down in 10fow to 14’ down in 18fow. Some in the lay downs others well outside them. Soft bite. Missed a lot more than I caught! High vis line a must. If you see the line go slack, it’s ttttooooo late!
Clarity 4’ (which is odd for this lake), 8” below pool, 42*f surface temp.
Charlie brewer slider white body pink tail, electric chicken with 1/16 oz head, green body yellow tail beaver bait 1/4 oz head. They weren’t picky. Slab sauce and pautzke nibbles, of course!
Had a bonus sauger, on the bottom, structure on spillway.
Talked to waterfowl hunters as they were leaving, they still had all their shells! If you go fishing here, be mindful of them. Supposed to have black flags on occupied blinds. Stay a couple hundred yards away.

Good report. Congrats on your day.
Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in hospitals dying of nothing.
Went today. Surface temp 44. Graphed a lot, only caught a few non keepers. Vertical jig structure 15-20’ deep, fish bit at 4-8’, had to watch line. Electric chicken, straight tail.
Slow cranking a jig, they hammered it. Thought I actually had keepers! Electric chicken curly tail under spin.
